The library committee of Stepney Borough Council have invited Ms Tilly Crumb, the maverick editor of the Stepney Chronicle to give a lecture about the First World War.  Tilly is a cross between Germaine Greer, Janet Street Porter and Edith Piaf and the library committee are nervous that her lecture will be just a bit too radical for their taste.

Tilly however knows her audience and delivers a superb and highly entertaining lecture in musical form, bringing together, in collaboration with the brilliant composer, writer and arranger Paul Sand, a powerful witty and passionate view of the war.

What the Papers Say…

“show stopping songs….Ms Crumb’s sensual rage infuses history with tragic satire”, Ken Tynum

“fabulous satire dressed up as a family singalong with attitude”, Bernard Lovin

Gallery DIFFERENT will be presenting their exhibition ‘Living Legends / Lest We Forget’ featuring work by sculptor Louise Giblin MRBS.  To time with this centenary year Louise has cast the hands of  veterans of ten military conflicts.  The bronze plaques detail their experiences.
